Sieverts, Rems etc

Concerning my concerns about units of radioactivity, expressed in the last blog, Mike E. sent me a reference from Slate Magazine explaining some of them: Article by Brian Palmer. The issue, of course, is not that one can't find out what they are (I had already done so) but that the Times should, itself, have included links in its web version.
